Cafe ZunZun in Houston, TX is the first of its kind. A complete design collaboration with our coffee roasting clients to bring one of the most sustainable buildings and company practices H-Town has ever seen. 

Rooted in sustainable agriculture practices, climate stability, human rights, and enriching livelihoods, Cafe ZunZun is not just selling cups of coffee, they are here to make a difference. 

The goal of this project was to create a structure that would not only house the roasting and brewing operation of this business but create energy efficiency. For these reasons, they turned to EcoSteel and our prefabricated metal building systems to help get the job done. 

This fire-rated insulated steel building system encompasses commercial grade architectural components to ensure decades of durable use. Insulated steel roof and wall panels provide superior insulation values to keep interiors cool while roasting coffee in extreme heat during the Summer months-vital to decreas­ing the energy con­sump­tion and creating a greener and more sus­tain­able society.
