Fire Rebuild

A custom all steel home provides a Fire Resistant alternative to lumber based construction methods. The residence is 3,485 SF with walls of glass and vaulted ceilings. Natural stone veneer is applied on top of our steel insulated panels for superior durability and energy efficiency.

This project will meet Cal Fire’s Wildland Urban Interface (UWI) requirements with flame resistant steel roof and wall panels. The property is just below Atlas Peak in Napa, CA.

New custom all steel home in Los Angeles, CA. Fire Resistant Roof & Wall Panels are able to meet the Wildland-Urban Interface (“WUI”) Building Materials Testing Standards. This home is another WildFire Rebuild in an area of standard design tract homes with spanish tile roofs and lumber framed/ stucco walls. The California Net Zero 2020 Housing Plan is aggressive. EcoSteel is actively involved in the development of buildings that exceed California’s Commercial ZNE Action Plan Update.

Custom Modern Steel Home

Architecture and Interior Design by Mark & Peter Anderson

This custom modern steel home was designed by the award winning Anderson Anderson Architecture team from Seattle. Natural light and functional design combine with extreme temperatures and ice/snow management. The steel frame structure and insulated roof and wall panels create durable shelter for the harsh winter environment. The Hunter Mountain house is located on a remote building site and will be used as a mountain retreat for a young family in New York City.

At just under 2,000SF of living area, the home takes advantage of sweeping views toward the Hunter Mountain Ski Runs. Exposed structural framing behind folding doors of glass create a visual impact of strength and minimalism. Galvalume roof and wall panel finish will patina with age and provide generations of use while blending in with the rustic surroundings.
