Introducing EcoSteel’s two latest projects to go vertical, one in Santa Cruz, CA and one in Miami, FL. Owners continue to seek out EcoSteel for custom, architect designed custom projects like those seeking to minimize fire hazard, meet California’s strict seismic code, or projects facing hurricane speed wind loading.
Nothing on the market is better suited to face these natural disasters than bolted, heavy structure steel connections and all steel, fire resistant/non-organic exterior shell and frame.
Retail 41
Located in Santa Cruz, CA is a 10,340 square foot retail building designed by Architects Thacher and Thompson. The previous building was lost to fire which mandated fire resistant materials be used for the exterior.
The Tin Box
Located in Miami, FL, this project was designed by the future homeowner, a Professor of Architecture at Florida International University. With Miami’s history of high impact hurricanes, this home is designed to be a shelter in the storm.
